Who Am I?

I write quite a lot, but its so much harder to write about yourself…

I have spent my whole life in a strange space seeing life and music in colour and movement. I also see spirits, have prophetic dreams and a sixth sense about things. A lot to contend with!

Mostly I work as a healer and meditation teacher until Covid hit then I started to explore my creativity in ways I had never given myself time for before. I found that it unlocked new ways of expressing myself and gave me a deeper sense of fulfilment than I had ever felt.

My art developed out of how I see and engage with the world, which also goes hand in hand with my. 20 year Vipassana meditation practice. I feel like for the first time I found something that is authentically me and embodies all aspects of who I am. All this combined gives me my unique creative signature.

I started to share my story with online galleries, publications and other artists and was surprised to be invited to collaborate with others, have my work exhibited in several online galleries, interviews and a venture that saw my work being included in an app for relaxation and meditation. #SyntropyStates

All the work I create has a story, an emotion or a feeling that I am endeavouring to interpret. There are several ways I have done this and they are all so different from each other. I love how self expression can keep being re-interpreted and convey so many different emotions.

I feel that my work is unique and deeply personal and have decided to go down the route of minting them into NFT’s. I think this is the perfect way to show the value and uniqueness of each piece, and I intend to keep the amount of each images availability low.

I also interpret music, and other peoples personalities. I live in a very interesting world and love all my gifts.

It has taken me a long time to really embrace all of the different aspects of myself as I have always been the ‘odd one’ in lots of ways. Each to their own eh…Life would be boring if we were all the same, thought the same and did the same things. I like to think that I disrupt the way people see things by showing them another way.

Nothing is just black or white…

I am loving how my work is developing in new ways and I am really excited to research into how I can bring my work alive for people. I want others to experience how immersive it can be and really be present and embodied in it. How that will happen I have no idea… I keep talking to others and putting out thoughts and I’m sure the right time and place will bring it into life.
